We collect and donate essential items such as nutritious food, clean water, hygiene products, clothing, blankets, and medical supplies.

Meet Our Team

Queen Nina Womack
Queen Nina Womack is a Los Angeles native and crowned "Development Queen" in Ghana, West Africa, dedicated to uplifting communities and battling poverty worldwide. She is the founder of "Let's Be Whole," an organization providing alternative health education, mental wellness support, and food recovery and distribution, supporting over 60,000 households annually. Queen Nina is a trained Peer Mental Health Specialist and a catalyst for change, championing food sovereignty and serving as Co-Chair of the “Black and African Heritage Subcommittee” for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health. Her international media company, Transmedia 360, markets African and Diaspora-led brands, reflecting her deep commitment to Pan African arts & culture. She also holds leadership positions with the African Youth in Tourism Network and the African Diaspora Union, further solidifying her impact on a global scale.

Dr. Betty Burston, PhD
Dr. Betty Burston is a former Assistant Professor of Healthcare Administration at the University of Las Vegas. She is a seasoned grantwriter who has successfully secured over $10 million in federal funding for healthcare organizations and academic institutions. She earned a PhD in economics.

Dr. Mondy Gold, PhD
Dr. Mondy Gold is an accomplished accountant and business management expert with over 21 years of senior management experience. He has served as Chief Accounting Officer for prominent organizations including the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Jewish Board of Family Services, and Queens General Hospital in New York City. Dr. Gold holds a Doctorate in Management from the University of Phoenix and has extensive experience in the academic world, teaching accounting, international business, and management at universities in China, South Korea, Australia, and the United States. He is also a published author and global business consultant.

Romalis Taylor
Romalis Taylor is a mental health and social services leader with 30+ years of experience in program development, administration, and community advocacy. He co-chairs the African/African American Underserved Cultural Communities Group for the DMH Quality Improvement Division and represents underrepresented groups on the Department of Mental Health System Leadership Team, impacting mental health services in Los Angeles County. Mr. Taylor has a proven track record of developing and implementing innovative programs, including family preservation, child welfare support, and behavioral health prevention. He is a dedicated advocate for culturally competent services for children, youth, and families, serving on numerous community and county advisory councils.

Pamela Thornton
Pamela, Founder and Principal of Urban Land Matters (ULM), is a passionate advocate for equitable land use and development in underserved communities. With over two decades of experience in land use planning and management, she tackles zoning issues and systemic practices that have historically marginalized people of color from land rights and ownership. Through ULM, Pamela provides expert consulting services, including feasibility studies, master planning, and community engagement, to ensure that development projects benefit all stakeholders. Her commitment to social justice is evident in her work with the Harbor Gateway North community and throughout Los Angeles County, where she fights for fair and inclusive land use policies. Pamela's dedication to community empowerment extends beyond her professional work. She is a recognized leader, serving as past president of the League of Women Voters of Torrance Area and receiving the Unsung Hero Award from the California State Legislative Black Caucus. As the host of "Land Value – The Podcast," she fosters critical conversations about the intrinsic value of land and the need for equitable development practices.

Don L. Williams
Don Williams is CEO of Princeton Holdings International, specializing in financing and developing healthcare and infrastructure projects globally. He has pioneered U.S. export financing by engineering the first U.S. Ex-Im Bank-backed technology sale to Cote D'Ivoire, which paved the way for numerous projects in emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Mr. Williams also orchestrated the merger of a South Korean biotech firm with a U.S. public company and advised on the acquisition of a major hospital system in Brazil. Recently, he led the financing for a major healthcare development in China. Beyond his leadership at Princeton, Mr. Williams has a distinguished record of advising and serving organizations dedicated to international trade and development. He has served on the U.S. Department of Commerce's Industry Sector/Advisory Committee (ITAC9) for over 20 years, providing guidance on small/medium-sized businesses in international trade. He is a Board Director for the World Trade Center Atlanta, a Board Advisor to Georgia State University International Board, and a former Board Director at Northeastern University. The first time I went to the food pantry from Let's Be Whole, I met a group of volunteers who truly cares. They gave me a good amount of food to take home but it wasn't just about receiving free groceries; it was fulfilling our health needs and giving us hope.
