Heal through the power of spoken word led by poet and Peer Advocate, Ronnett Shadon as she takes you through the process of utilizing the pen and paper to unblock the things that hold one back.
Ronnett Shadon is a lover of humanity who strives to be of service in all of her affairs. She is the founder of Reachers United which is dedicated to community unification through project management and event staffing. Reachers United is best known for the their popup Spoken Word Poetry Lounge program most recently held at the West Los Angeles Regional Library and the African American Cultural Center. Ronnett recently graduated from the Peer to Peer Specialist Certification course through LMU and is an active Mental Health Wellness advocate. After her high school friend Alanya Echols committed suicide in June of last year, she and Alanya’s mother, Marylin Echols joined forces to build the Alanya Echols Non-profit Foundation in order to prevent suicide through their emergency response team and promote life through their to mental health resources.
