Healing Mind Body & Soul – Everyday Strategies with Seeking Balance
Presented by Black Women For Wellness
Mental health and wellness is more than just about the mind. Mental wellness is centered around whole-person care – connecting whole health as a holistic approach to life that is both ancient and culturally-based. Emphasizing the connection of mind, body and spirit, mental health is also about the interconnections between generational trauma of slavery, nutrition and hydration, stress and physical wellness, environmental and societal influences, spirituality and self-reflection, and personal empowerment. Because healing starts from the inside and works its way out, this workshop discusses everyday strategies to pursue our full wellness and tap into our personal power – mentally, physically and spiritually.
